I am using Afaria 7 and need to install software on Windows 7 computers. I am having trouble finding info on managing Windows clients. What I would like to do is have the worklist check the file version and if it equals the recent version it should End the worklist and if not to install the software.
Here is what I have so far. I can't get the Client File Status working or the Execute working. It sends the files to the client so at least that is working. I disabled the Client File Status because it wasn't working so I could test the rest. I'm not even sure if using the Client File Status is the right way to check if a particular version of software is installed. I also am not sure if the Execute command is the correct one to run a batch file. Any help would be great. Thanks.
