More information:

Logical system for ERP: T90CLNT090, client : 800

Logical system for SCM: APOCLNT800    APO System Client 800

                                    APOCLNT890    APO System Client 890

when I configuration the RFC ERP to SCM,it works fine, the remote logon successfully logon to SCM/890

But when I configured the RFC in SCM to ERP, I tried to remote logon ERP/800, but it connect to SCM/800?

Can you let me know how to fix it? thanks,

Hello Richard,

Is normal if you point to CLNT 800. You have to separate the ECC client from APO client!

Try with this set up:

Logical system for ERP: T90CLNT090, client : 090

Also - why are you working with two clients for APO?

Thanks, Marius

Hi Marius,

I think the system was setup to have 800 for APO, and 890 fro EWM in the same SCM box. But I also have ERP with 800 client.

And the issues is both ERP and APO are in the same VM, and sharing the same ip address - 127.0.0.1.

How I can separate it? Can I disable 800 client?

Hello Richard,

You have to create another logical name  T90CLNT090, client : 090 on ECC side.

1. Create new log.name T90CLNT090

2. Assign new Log.name to client 090

3.Specify APO release - normally this step is already done

4. Set up new RFC Destination - have to point to SCM logical name

5. Assign RFC Destination to Diff.Applic..Case - (RL,RQ)

6.Set target system and Queue Type

If all these steps are done on ECC side then you can point the RFC Destination from APO to ECC to newly ECC logical name T90CLNT090. In the tab Technical settings you can work with IP Address or Hostname. Try to work with Hostname. In this case the Hostname will be identical with Target Host.

Thanks, Marius
