MDG7.0-Customer Like UI

Hello Experts,

I am working on MDG-C scenario in 7.0 version and try to use only Customer Like UI, so I have imported all the CR types specific to customer like UI.

Now, as per the document also, I am using the role named as "SAP_MDGC_CL_MENU_04" for customer like UI.

Now, using this role when I tried to create a customer through search screen, I am getting the below UI:-

Now, as per the screenshots it requires and entry for role and also as shown there is separate UIBB for ERP customer.

Requesting you to kindly help in let me know how can I get directly the ERP customer screen as soon as Create Customer screen.

Do I need to change something in UI modeling?

Also, when I tried  with adding the WebDynpro application to my favorites in SAP Easy Access menu in backend system:

WebDynpro Application: BS_OVP_BP

Application Configuration: BS_OVP_CU_CL

Double click on the favorite entry to start ERP Customer UI specific application.

Still I am getting the same screens as shown in my above screenshot.

Kindly check UI specified for Standard Application in MDGIMG node under business activity and no parameters must be maintained under WDA

I checked and found in technical help section that application configuration is different in my search screen page and create ERP customer screen.

is this is the main reason? if yes, how can I change this.

Also, as per the inputs,

I checked the Link Logical Action with UI and business activity: standard definition as:-

I tried the above scenario with my webdynpro application created in favourites in ECC backend.

Could you please let me know how can I achieve the same functionality through NWBC screen.

As per checking in the parameters:-

My search screen has WDConfiguration ID as:- BS_OVP_CU_CL, whereas my create erp customer screen has "BS_OVP_CU". could you please let me know how can I change this?

You need to assign role mentioned by me so no need for NWBC it creates business work center to this role in NWBC screen

Hi Prateek ,

When you changed the Webdynpro you must have logged into one of the roles ,

Make sure that the same role is tagged to your User ID .

It will automatically reflect in NWBC

Hi Vag,

I tried this option, but as per my role "SAP_MDGC_CL_MENU_04" menu tree contains search ERP customer as a webdynpro application, and inside this we have a button Create ERP customer which on clicking navigates to the specific UI.

As, I can't change the parameters as ACTION create for search ERP customer, this needs to be changed for the respective button that I am not to find.

Hi Prateek,

get in touch with your security team , They can do this config for you .

More over you do not need to change the search application.

You can add a new Webdynpro application and add these configs.

Have a word with your security team and guide them on the process.
