720_EXT_REL of Host Agent cannot be found

Hello Expert,

I want to upgrade the Host Agent to the latest version.

So I'm finding the latest Host Agent sar file, but I couldn't find.

In SAP Service Market Place, Host Agent has only following list.

There is not version 7.20 EXT.

Does anyone know where Host Agent 7.20 EXT sar file is.

Hi Nasu,

You can update 720_EXT using 720 higher patches, and that is supported and recommended.

There is no such additional steps or special patches required for old EXT agents.

Also, you can look for the latest 720 patch and check if any hostagentrpm package is needed.

I have never seen SAP HOST AGENT 720_EXT version on SMP. I have only seen the standard ones (What you have mentioned) available for download.

The SAP note 1031096 - Installing Package SAPHOSTAGENT speaks about updating 720_EXT version and in that case if you are really considering to use 720_EXT version then you may ask SAP support for the download link if there is one they have released.
