Hi All,
We have two scenarios where we are sending an Idoc type to two different third party systems. One of the systems will accept the Idocs individually and the other requires that the Idoc is collected into a single message.
We are able to set up the partner profile (WE20) for each partner and set the collect Idocs option accordingly. One partner is set to collect and the other to transfer immediately.
IN PI 7.3 we have the IDoc Sender channel set up with the check box "Multiple Idocs in Single XI Message". This works well for the collected IDoc.
For the IDoc that is not collected, PI seems to be attempting to collect the IDocs if multiple are generated simultaneously. In this case, we find that we are not processing all the data in the Idocs.
Other than creating a new Idoc type for one of the partners, are there any other options?
Thanks!
Tom
Hi Tom
In the IDoc partner profile, what type of partners are used for both the IDoc setting - LS, KU, LI, etc?
If it is KU or LI, you can consider creating separate sender agreement corresponding to both the IDoc setting. To do so, you will need to create the sender agreement with virtual receiver (specifying the party that has the corresponding KU/LI partner number.) In the two separate sender agreements, you can select separate IDoc sender channels - one with Multiple checked, the other without.

It should work since in PI it does not collect.
Try using different IDOC sender channel.
