" BI Content Activation error in SAP Solution Manager 7.1"

Hi All,

Currently we are working on SAP Solution Manager 7.1 SP8, While Performing Technical Monitoring --> System Monitoring --> Reporting Setting,

BI Content Activation is getting failed with the below error.

"Error While Content Activation occurred"

" Could not enter Feature OCCM_Report with SID 2 into table /BI0/SIOBJNM "

I have attached the screen shot, Any help to resolve this error, will be really appreciated.

2. At the time replacing the source system it will ask you to replicate the source to all workbench ?

This is what I could find in SLG1 Logs

Could not enter feature 0CCM_REPORT with SID 2 into table /BI0/SIOBJNM

Message no. BRAIN071

Diagnosis

There is an inconsistency in the SID table /BI0/SIOBJNM for Info Object 0IOBJNM.

Procedure

Check the table /BI0/SIOBJNM (transaction se16). Find out why the record with the value 0CCM_REPORT and the SID 2 cannot be entered into the table. Note that there is also a unique index in the 'SID' column. This means that each SID appears a maximum of once.

Use transaction RSRV, test "Comparison of Number Range and Maximum SID" for characteristic 0IOBJNM, to determine whether there is an inconsistency between the number range object and the maximum SID. If there is an inconsistency, you can also repair it in this transaction. If this does not remove the problem, carry out the other master data tests in transaction RSRV for characteristic 0IOBJNM.

Thanks for your info

In your BI reports are there in Solution Manager or external BI system?

If it is in same Solution Manager you can use the transaction code RSA1--> source system-->select Solman local system--> Right click  --> restore and do the replicate all datasource on you solman.

In case any issue you can get touch with BI consultant

Hi Faraz,

Can you try re-installed the InfoObject 0CCM_REPORT from the BW content via transaction rsor?

1.Start transaction rsor in your BW client/system

2.Look in the tree in the middle of the screen for the node

"InfoObject -> Select Objects" and do double-click on it

3.Look for Object Name = 0CCM_REPORT, mark it and push the button

"Transfer Selections"

4.Now set the check box "Install" in the detail area on the right hand

side

5.Activate the object via Selection button "Install->Install

Thank You for your help !!

I have already Re- Installed The Info Object 0CCM_REPORT from the BW content via transaction rsor,

After That i tried to find the entry "0CCM_REPORT" in the table /BI0/SIOBJNM. But i could not find it over there.

Yesterday while replicating the Source system in RSA1, I selected the Data Source as 1.X,        I guess i should have to select 3.x.

Is this error because of this issue, If so how can i correct it?

@Ronald: Can you please guide me further.
