Hi All,
While we are connecting to the agentry application we are giving the server host name and port address details for the initial sync / when we reset the client.
But every time the port number on the device(ipad) was defaulted. So there is no need to enter it manually.
But server host address is not getting defaulted. Is there any possibility to default the agentry server host address on the device.
I have already changed the agentry definitions (Transmit Configurations). But couldn't see any difference.
Please suggest.
Thanks & Regards,
Roopa.
Roopa,
As Steve mentioned you will want to brand the client. You do not need to include a fully populated Agentry.db if all you want to do is lock in the server information. You can brand in the server connection details into the client and have it still do a full transmit on initial login.

Any change to the Transmit Configuration would not be seen until after the first transmit when the application would be loaded to the client.
What you can do is brand the client with a database file (Agentry.db) from a client already build once. This would give the any client running the branded version to already have the server information and application data.
