Hello,
in our solman 7.1 sp10 we cannot add a project for transaction type ZMDT (SMDT copy). The However, it is possible to add a project when using ZINC (SMIN copy). I am logged in with the business role ZSOLMANPRO. See attachment and everything will be clear
Could someone assist us on this?
Thanks!
Regards,
Kenny
Hi Kenny!
Buttons are hidden because of settings which exists for standard transaction types and not exists for Z transaction types. Customizing defines dependencies visibility of UI elements from user status of document.
Look at this IMG:
You should show UI element ADD_PROJECT in some user statuses of you transaction type.

Hello Vikram and other experts,
thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately these notes do not contain a solution for our problem. The problem is situated within the service desk application and more specificaly in logging testcase incidents (SMDT).
It's like when we are logging a SMIN incident, then we can add a project related to this error. So in SMIN, this button is visible whitin the project element (see attachement).
When we are logging a SMDT incident, then this button is not there, but the project element is visible (see same attachement).
So it's not a problem in a search result. It's just the button that is missing in our service desk application when creating a testcase incident (SMDT)
any help is highly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kenny
