We are on GRC 10.1 SP6
We are not able to generate an access request with our HR Trigger configuration. The SLG1 log gives the following error "Rules
are not satisfied for Employee ID xxxxxxxx".
In our BRF+ rule for HR Triggers we successfully saved, generated, and simulated three "Decision Table" rules.
- Termination = BRF+ Action ID result = TERM
- Org Change = BRF+ Action ID result = ORGCH
- Position Change = BRF+ Action ID result = POSCH
Submitting an Access Request using the access request screen.
We generated our MSMP rule ID against SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST for submitting a standard Access Request through the access request screens. The BRF+ "Decision Table" rule result "Trigger Value" was configured in the MSMP Configuration "Rule Results" table under step 2 Maintain Rules.
Submitting a request using the access request screen successfully generates a request and follows our defined MSMP workflows.
When our developer was debugging HR Triggers, we see a log where a request submitted using the access request screen gives a result of "0001/ACCESS_REQ_DEPT" where ACCESS_REQ_DEPT is the defined trigger value in our Decision Table for non-triggers.
Then for our trigger we see it's trying to submit a request, but the result is "0001/". Notice there is no entry following 0001/... like there was when submitting a request manually. I was expecting the "Action ID" value from our HR Trigger Decision table to show here.
Note I added our three "Action ID" result values from the BRF+ HR Trigger Decision Table to the MSMP "Rule Results" table in Step 2 Maintain Rules using the MSMP Process ID SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST. Workflow was configured against those three trigger result values.
Question:
- Where does the Action ID from our HR Trigger Decision Table need to be configured in order to generate an access request against the MSMP Process ID SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST?
Hi Richard
Do you have any documentation for the configuration of the Workflow with HR triggers? I haven't been able to find anything on how to configure and bind the decision table with the workflow.

Hi Ameet,
Yes those directions were followed. In debug mode we get the Action ID from the BRF+ Decision Table for Triggers.
Maintain AC Applications and BRFplus Function Mapping in SPRO is populated with SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST.
How is the Action ID result value tied to the standard SAP_GRAC_ACCESS_REQUEST workflow.
Thanks,
Rich
