Main work canter & Work center for costing point of view.

Dear Experts,

I have one question for Example: I have one main work center called MECH and I have two work centers MEC-1 & MEC-2 for different Mechanical activities and in my work order operations i am using these two work centers for the activity.

At the and for costing pointing of view can i take a cost of both work centers together MEC-1 MEC-2 through main work center which is MECH.

hope you can give me a clear picture.

ERP Tech,

Your question is not clear. Do you mean from an order perspective, or from a higher-level cost centre perspective?

Have a look on the Cost tab of each work order. Here you should be able to find the total labour cost (provided your system has been configured accordingly).

My question is that for example: work center MEC-1 & MEC-2, has performed a mechanical tasks in many orders, now if we would like to know a total cost of both work-centers together, how can we take out.

Otherwise, you will probably need to write a customer-specific report/query for this purpose linking the following objects:

  • Order/operations (AUFK/AFKO/AFIH/AFVC)
  • Confirmations (AFRU)
  • Costs (COEP)

IW37N will not give the costs for a given set of operation work centres..
