Deletion of Electronic bank statement

Hi Guys,

I have deleted a electronic bank statement from RFEBKA96, however i have nor reversed any documents which were posted originally.

I want to understand the consequences by leaving them as is as.

Right now if everything is going well i would really rather leave it as is.

Can some one please advise if i can leave it as is?

Many Thanks,

Viv

Hi,

If you have a new statement for replacing the deleted one and you don't reverse the previous postings, you will have duplicate documents and some clearings will fail due to already cleared documents.
As you deleted the statement thru RFEBKA96, the entries disappeared in FEBKO and are no more visible in FEBA(N). If the statement was not to be posted
In standard solution, you can retrieve the documents in bkpf: XBLNR contains house bank, account id and statement number.

Dear VIV,

Please reverse the list of document which were posted in the system.

1. if you are failing to reverse the document, your SAP main bank account and bank account will not reconcile correctly.

2. If any open item AR/AP might have been cleared, for which we would have not done the actual payment or receipt.

As per best practise we should reverse the document posted document before deleting the bank statement.

You can see the list of posted document via TCODE- FEBA, or check table FEBKO.
