Availability error

Dear professionals,

My clients requirement is he have material A 100qty. And the

pickpack time is 3days,

Loading time is 2 days,

RLT is 10 days.

There is one high delivery priority customer places order for A material 100 qty today i.e 20/09/14 and he wants the delivery on 10/10/14 then system conformed the quantity. Same day another high delivery priority customer placed order for A material for 20 qty and he wants immediate delivery but system showing available qty as "0" what should i do for this ?

Hi Harsha,

The available quantity is zero because the ordered quantity is blocked for the first customer.

You can change this by BackOrder Processing in transaction CO06\V_RA.

What you do here is - you reduce ordered quantity for first customer from 100 to 80.

Then create a new order for the second customer.

Hi,

you need to decide the High Priority order first and then perform Backorder processing under-V_RA and assign the the stock the most high priority order.
