how do i prevent a user from changing the layout in ALV Grid Report.

hello all,

we are facing a problem in ALV Grid Report...

some users are changing the layout in Production(i.e they are hiding some fields),

this is causing problems to other users...

so how do i prevent so that no user changes the LAYOUT in the production...

i want to keep a standard layout...

how do i achieve this....

Are you using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY? If so then fill import parameter

I_SAVE with a value like "U". i think this will limit them to saving layouts only as user-specific.

... forgot to mention... have a look at sap demo program BCALV_GRID_09, where the various settings, including the one i mentioned are demonstrated.
