I have Issue related to delivery scheduling.

At Shipping Point-Loading Time,Pick and pack time is empty

Also the stock is available. Because this is the first order booked.

The order is booked today 19.09.14 ,but in schedule lines, the confirmed date is 23.09.14.

I dont have any clue, why system is behaving like.

Also please find the screen shots attached.

Looks like a problem with calendars. Check the calendars assigned to shipping point (OVLZ) and route (0VTC). Check in transaction SCAL if 19th -22nd September are non-workdays.

In the 0VTC,the calender is maintained as Blank only.

Hi Pradeep,

1.  please check shipping point calender and as well working days & hours based on this system also propose delivery scheduling date apart form another parameter.

2. please confirm either user has changed the req. delivery date in sales document after performing availability check or not . if it is so then delete order to reformed the availability check.

Thanks

Confirmed delivery dates can vary according to the situation an customizing.

Scenario 1 (Standard/Without Scheduling)

In this case requested delivery date is same as Order Date.

Here and in every case system first determine the Material Availability Date.

In this case system automatically take order date(Current Date) as MAD.

Since there is no schduling available, system taks the current date as for all other required dates & finally reached on Confirm Delivery Date.

In this scenario, at schdule line level system proposed only one line item with Delivery date, Orderd Quantity & Confirmed Quantity.

Scenario 2 (With Scheduling Only)

In this case system determine the MAD by performing backward scheding from requested delivery date. In case the MAD determines as past date than order entry date, then system takes the current date as MAD & then will do the forward scheduling for other dates.

Here we can influence other dates with the help of customization.

First: we need to activate Delivery Scheduling & Transportation Scheduling in cutomization. (SD->Basic Function->Del Schd & Trans Schd)

We can activate these functions against individual document types.

We have to maintain time for Pick/Pack & Loading against the shipping point.

This will help the system to reach Loading Date & Goods Issue Date.

Second: In case Route is also maintained in the system, then within the route we have to maintain Transit time.

Transit time will then adds up to goods issue date and system finally will be able to reach Confirmed Delivery Date.

In this case, there will be two schedule lines

1.       Required Delivery Date & Order Quantity.

2.       Confirmed Delivery Date & Confirmed Quantity.

Scenario 3 (With Availability & Scheduling)

In this case MAD is influenced with the introduction of Availability into the process.

First system determines the MAD by performing backward scheding from requested delivery date and runs Availability Check to determine the actual MAD date.

In case the MAD determines as past date than order entry date(current date), then system takes the current date as MAD, and then runs Availability check as per scope of check defined in the system to determine actual MAD date.

Following things can influence the calculation during availability.

In case of In-house Production

1.       MAD = Current Date(or Initial MAD) + Replenishment Lead Time (RLT)

2.       MAD = Current Date (or Initial MAD) + In-house Production Time + GR  Processing Time.

In case of External Procurement

MAD = Current Date (or Initial MAD) + PO Processing Time + Planned Delivery Time + GR Processing time.

Note: In case of external procurement RLT is not applicable.

Once system reaches MAD, then others dates are calculate as per the earlier scenarios.

Hi Pradeep,

As you know we have the concept of Backward / Forward Scheduling in Delivery Scheduling. May be in your case, referring to the first image the material by itself is available only on 23.09.2014 and hence the date is confirmed accordingly.

Would request you to please revisit your material stock availability again.

Hi,

The transportation scheduling is marked.

Also in MB5B T-code stock is there on 19.09.14.

Also as this is the1st order booked,we can see in Co09.As this is issue related to schedule lines,i did not save the order so that we cannot see the order no in that screen.

Also find the configuration setting in attached file.

I dont know why system is proposing 23.09.14 as confirmed date.

The below are maintained blank

Transit time,Tans lead time,Loading time w.days,pick/pack time wdays are maintained Blank.

Thanks,

Pradeep
