Hi,

I was able to connect through WPF client and work with the application. With iPhone, still have the communication error(14) prevaliing me.

The steps followed.

1. Through iphone configuration utility, i was able to pick the smp_cert.cer from SMP 3.0 Server location and congifured to iPhone.

2. I am able to see the profile in General settings in iPhone.

3. Installed WM(v7.0.3.711) and Agentry(v7.0.4.203) Clients.

4. With the same user credentials and URL, i am still facing the communication error(14).

Can any one please suggest , if any thing missing here or any more to be done.

With Best Regards,

Jilan

Are you sure you can access the SMP server from your iPhone ?

Try entering the application endpoint URL into the Safari browser.

You should see a page saying "I am here!".

If not, then you are not properly connected to the SMP server with your phone.

Is the WPF client you are using on the same machine as the the SMP Server?  Have you been able to connect with a WPF client from a different machine?

If you are not able to connect you might have a firewall issue.

Hi Soren,

Havnt tried with safari, but with Chrome, i dont see the message with the end point URL.

But i am sure of importing the same SMP certificated on the device.

Thanks,

If you don't see the "I am here" message in a browser when trying to go to the end point URL. This would normally be a network issue, with there a firewall or network path issue.

Thanks Stephen and Every body.

I have resolved this by applying certificate to the server IP rather than FQDN name.

I am able to use the IP address and conenct from WPF and iPAD.

Hi Jilan,

What version of SMP 3.0 (SP?) are you working with?

Hi Mike,

I am working with SP03.

SMP is installed in a cloud server.

in windows, after updating the host file with the mapping of FQDN to ip address i was able to connect with WPF client.

but from iphone and android device, i was not able to connect.

Thanks,

Jilan
