SAP Screen Personas allows companies to improve user productivity by personalizing their SAP ERP screens. This product was developed by SAP and is now available as part of the NetWeaver license. It offers extensive personalization capabilities as described on the product page and many posts on SCN. Customers use it to improve SAP GUI usability.

GuiXT is sold by Synactive. You can learn more about its functionality on their web site.

GuiXT  too is included with SAP GUI.  Synactive, Inc. in the US (see www.guixt.com) added extensions to the core engine into a new product called Liquid UI, supporting not only SAP GUI simplification, but also new screens through their mobile native app for iOS and Android, or mobile scanners.  The script once created can be deployed to SAP GUI, iOS, Android and Web.

The difference between Personas is that GuiXT is native to SAP GUI, so there is no additional web server or browser required.  Without the SAP GUI to HTML translation, there is little performance impact.  They also have a web-based product that is similar to Personas but for high volume transactions for hundreds of users, their desktop native SAP GUI product is still the way to go.

The GuiXT functionality is built-in to the SAPGUI, that's true, but the developer tools and ability to create GuiXT scripts still requires purchase of a license from Synactive.

Hi Harsha,

Why can't you just use some of your time to do a Google/SCN search on this topic. Please avoid these kind of questions in the forum as it falls in the basic level questions.
