Hello,
I have just installed the SAP Gui for Java on my new MBP, so far so good.
Only one problem (so far).
I cannot use the F1 button!
I can only use it for making the display darker...
The F4-button for instance works fine as long as I use with the function-button.
Does anyone know how to activate the F1 button in the Java gui on a mac? ...
Thanx!
Regards, Anne Kathrine
Hello Anne Kathrine,
this is not specific to SAP GUI for Java, but MacBook (Pro) functionality.
Please have a look at <a href="http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304733#l1">this acticle</a>, Customize Your Keyboard, "If you're using an MacBook or MacBook Pro and want to use the F1-F12 keys on your keyboard...."
In case you do not want to switch the keyboard behavior globally, you can use the fn key plus the F-keys to make SAP GUI for Java to receive the F-key events.
Hope this helps
Rolf-Martin
