Hi David,

the planning area is defined in the Workcenter "Supply Chain Design Master Data" in the view "Sites/Locations". There under the header "Roles" you have to check the checkbox "Logistics Relevance", then you will see the "Planning Area ID" in the lower right part of the screen.

Hi Michael,

I just want to understand, what we do in the "Supply Chain Design Master Data" in the view "Sites/Locations" to make the planning area active.

Because we just enable the logistics area, the roles and usages.

Apart from that we will bot be doing anything over there. Hence kindly clarify if i wrong.

Hi David,

Create a new unit and enable the "supply chain planning and control" function in Organizational structure.

Or

If you have want to enable the old unit, follow the same process.

After my testing in SAP, I think we should add Michael's solution in our configuration and then it will be ok.
