Hi! We're running BPC 10.0 NW consolidations. Our client has noticed that the opening flow (the one with the FLOWTYPE "OPENING") does not eliminate. Whenever they want to eliminate it, they have to copy its value into another non-OPENING flow to do so.
Does anyone know if this is a bug/feature with version 10? They get around it now by copying but it can be an inconvenience.
Hi,
how are the eliminations configured? Which rules are being used and how are they set up? Please give a bit more information.
BR,
Arnold

Hi Arnold - they are used in Elimination and Adjustment rules for consolidations. Whenever the opening FLOW member is used as the DESTINATION FLOW, the elimination does not occur. It seems to ignore. This is why I am wondering if you cannot eliminate to the opening FLOW member.
Thanks,
-Karthik
