Have this any influence over business process behavior on the system? for example sales order, sales quotation etc.

Hello,

You cannot activate additional countries to the solution scope through business configuration.

This has no influence to the sales process in Cloud for Customer. Only sales quote print from will be generated through another country version (paper size, address version), which likely does not require (for your mentioned countries) a separate configuration due to the standards offered by the selectable countries.

SAP Cloud for Customer offers a language translation toolkit that solution key users / administrators can leverage to create language translations appropriate for their solution deployment.

Please read up all about it in Section 9.5 of the administration guide for the August 2014 solution release, available via the SAP Service Marketplace.

Extract below:

With the Language Adaptation in the Administrator work center you, as a key user, can translate the required work center and views into languages that are not supported by SAP. Also you can adapt centrally the terminology to your own needs. For example, if you are working in medical care and you don't have accounts but patients, you have to exchange the term Accounts on the UI by the term Patient that fits much better in your business context. Beside the field labels you can also adapt other UI elements such as value help and messages.

After you did the adaptations you will be able to export and import those text pools into other systems using Microsoft Excel or you can use the export and import to get the texts translated externally.

Please feel free to reach out to us via this community in case you need more help.

Thank you.

Hi Montezuma,

There is no "country specific" aspect to the service offering other than the languages available.

What is your / your customers understanding in terms of country specific service?

Please advise the business aspects that you are seeking in terms of country specificity and we could guide you better.

Thank you,

Pushkar
