Tables not visible in Business Layer(BO 4.1)

Hi Folks,

While creating a new project under IDT, I'm able to do Connections, Data Foundation, Business Layer.

While Creating a Dimensions and measure  I cant able to Configure Tables into SQL Statements.

Kindly let me know where I'm missing steps.

Snapshot.

Here I cant able to see Tables In Business Layer to link Dimension Objects.

Reddy,

Have you made use of the New Business Layer wizard?

Hi,

I think you have not saved the data foundation once the table has been added into it, if not then it won't visible in Business Layer.

Your correct. I forget saving.

After saving I can able to view tables in BL.

Hi Reddy,

I am not sure to understand your question correctly but many configurations can be made in the file defaultConfig.xml.

The file can be found in the path below:

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Business Objects Enterprise 12.0\classes\AppletConfig\defaultConfig.xml

Hi, Use Sql definition > Select > SQL Assistant SQL Assistant will help for configuration of SQL & tables. Please provide the snapshot SO i can explain in detail. Tahnks Arvind Shukla
