Rebate On Total Individual Income Tax of 2000/-

Dear Experts,

Please let me know the rebate on total individual Income tax of Rs.2000/- it still continue or canceled. But as per the new budget-2014-15 updated in the system but not considering this 2000/- tax.

Kindly suggest the above my query.

Hi,

Tax rebate /437 2000/- (gross  less than 5,00,000/-) is not canceled. it tax credit 2000/- is giving rebate for the employee means check the salary and he is eligible or not. if you paste the screen shot is helpful form-16 screen shot from payslip

I think so rebate amount will be appeared in RT table but From 16 it won't be appeared.

I have checked & found it's working correct nothing in changes rebate tax consideration.
