Hello,
I'd like to customize a specific layout in Analysis for excel.
I saw it was possible to change the standard style but I don't understand how to do it.
For example, I'd like to change colour according hierarchy level.
How to change all theses levels in one clic ?
Thank you for your answer.
Regards,
Nicolas
Hi TRINQUAND Nicolas,
Click on any cell(in your scenario click on cell of the hierarchy level) and follow the steps mentioned in document
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-20590
that works.
and also check more information on
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7679

e.g.
Root(level1)
001(level2)
001_001(level3)
001_002(level3)
002(level2)
001_001(level3)
001_002(level3)
if you customize 001(level2)
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-20590
this automatically applies to 002 as well. applies to Level2
Hello Thank you very much for the tip. It works now. Last question : I have customized some cells with a copy of SAPMemberCell in order to change the color. But when I refresh the report, this customizing is not more taken into account. The Style came back to standard SAPMemberCell How to keep the customizing ? Thank you in advance for your help Best regards, Nicolas
Hi,
I am using Analysis Office 1.4 SP8. I assume you are also using the same 🙂
It depends on the which style you have customized. you cannot customize hierarchy cell With SAP Member cell. If you want to customize hierarchy cells you need to use only hierarchy styles(same for others as well)
for ex:
lets see the hierarchy is some thing like this below
- WORLD(levelo0)
- COUNTRY(level1)
- STATES(level2)
- DISTRICTS(level3)
for each hierarchy levels SAP given different style names. AO recognizes all styles with Style names
level0 - SAPHierarchyCell0
level1 - SAPHierarchyCell1
level2 - SAPHierarchyCell2
level3 - SAPHierarchyCell3
(this you can observe on selecting each hierarchy cell style names are highlighted in Home->Styles)
lets say now you want to customize level1
Right Click on Style "SAPHierarchyCell1" in Home->Styles Select "Modify", choose the color which you want, and click on OK button
new style applies to level1. and this stays even after refresh
