Completing WCM Objects

Team,

I am facing a problem in completing WCM Objects (i.e., Work Approval, WC Application, Hot Work Application, etc.)

Considering the Below steps I have performed:

1. Created a Maintenance order for Functional location.
2. Assigned a WCM Permit in Maintenance order.
3. Created a Work Approval in link to the created Maintenance Order.
4. Created a WC Application and a Hot Work Application in link to Work Approval.
5. Created an Operation WCD in link to WC Application.
6. Assigned an Equipment (with technical object E) in maintenance screen for tagging.
7. Set Operational WCD as Prepared.
8. Tagging of Operations.
9. Tag Printing of Operations.
10. Releasing Maintenance Order.
    
11. Untagging Operations.
12. Untagged Operations.
13. Set WC Application as Prepared.
14. Issuing Approvals for WC Application.
15. Entering Tasks in Hot Work Application.
16. Set Hot Work Application as Prepared.
17. Issuing Approvals for Hot Work Application.
18. Closed Operational WCD.

After this when I try to close WC Application/ Hot Work Application/ Work Approval it is showing me below errors:

1. Message no. I4230 - Function is not available (For Wc Application and Work Approval)

2. Message no. I4220 - Function is not Permitted (For Hot Work Application).

Need your guidance as to where am I making a mistake or am I missing any step/ config.

Greetings Chintan,

Have you set the status "Work Completed" on the Work Order?

Have all the Approvals been issued on the applications?

Also, it seems weird to me that you actually Untag operations before preparing, approving and processing the WCAs. It's a process issue - Usually you Tag (prepare) the workplace and only do the Untagging (going back to operational state) after all the work had been done and all the Permits processed.

Actually the Sequencing may not be in the exact order as I have written in my question.

Also, I have done all the steps guided but only one question here is:

How can "Work Completed" be done on the Work Order?

Is there any button or Menu Path for "Work Completed"? As I cannot see the same in my Work Order.

It would be nice if you can guide me with a screenshot.

Also, I would be glad if you can suggest me the config (if any) to get "Work Completed" option in Work Order.

I have got the solution. Thanks Sebastian Lenartowicz.

Being working on the IDES, somehow some functions were not displayed in the Maintenance order screen.

But it seems ok now.

Also to mention, I was going through threads of people who were getting same error messages.

They were suggested the SAP Note: 1885232 - WCM: Error I4220 when preparing work clearance document.

But this Note is not valid for my Server as I am working on Release: 617 SP-Level: 0005 and support Package: SAPKH61705.

Please do guide.
