Database livecache problem

Hi experts,

We have a problem in a SAP SCM 7.0 with Oracle 11.2.0.2. When the user makes a full selection in transaction IN/SAPAPO/SDP94 a dump appears and the database livecache falls down, but if the selection is smaller, using some filters, no problems happens. It seems to be a memory problem in livecache.

The dump is:

Runtime Errors DBIF_DSQL2_SQL_ERROR

Exception CX_SY_NATIVE_SQL_ERROR

The error "-10807" occurred in the current database connection "LCA".

The termination was triggered in function "DsqlErrorHandler"

of the SAP kernel, in line 2085 of the module

"//bas/721_REL/src/krn/runt/abexsql.c#3".

The internal operation just processed is "DSQL".

Internal mode was started at 20140918090430.

Request you check and update cache_size for MaxDB database. Post this check the results.

You have problem with the MaxDB database as LC uses MaxDB.

You need to check the MaxDB trace file to understand why the DB crashed.

Hi Max,

You may connect to database and execute below command

dbmcli -u control,<passwd for control> -d <DBSID> param_put –permanent CacheMemorySize <value 30% of available memory in MB>

Or

You can use database studio to connect to database and refer to steps in link below to change parameters

You may need to take restart to make the values effective.
