Displaying data in Infocube leads to short dump -TIME_OUT error in ST22

Hello,

I am unable to display data in Infocube as it takes long time and leads to short dump.

Basis team has increased the time from 600 to 1800s but it runs for a very long time and leads to short  dump. I have checked the cube with RSRV and there is no issue.

How can I resolve this issue

hello,

I have analyzed the error further and found that there is an issue with the SQL statement to retrieve data.

any idea how to resolve it

Dear Bhat,

Are you running for a 200 records, or all set of records. For eg if you are trying to run display of inventory cube it will never work. The dump is coming system has to be bring in all the character and join the dimension if you have line item characteristics.

For that you need to run the report and get the data

Hi,

I am running data for 1 month period with many different restriction e.g company code and business area restriction. This is affecting all cubes in the system. I was able to run the cube yesterday morning before this issue started.

It happened last week also.
