Hi,
I have a requirement wherein I give a prompt which shows current period/year by default(using a customer exit variable for this)
which is used for showing balance for the current month, but on using the same variable for calculating the offset it doesn't work.
Is there any limitation which doesn't allow to use offset for a customer exit variable?
Thanks & Regards,
Anuradha
Hi Anuradha,
If you are trying to use the same variable in multiple RKFs (or selections), this is not possible. You can create a new variable with replacement path from variable and set the offset for the new variable.

Hi,
Offset will work for customer exit variables.
There are standard variable for current period/year 0FPER & current month of fiscal year OP_RTFPM we can use those instead of customer exit variable.
are you getting any error at the time of using offset variable ?
Thanks.
