Selction options in language change

Dear all,

I have selection-option for material in my program

parameters : so_matnr type mara-matnr.

if i change logon language to 'it'

after executing that , it showing

storage location --------- A -----------

instead of 'to' it showing A

How to rectify this.

Hi Peter,

In Italian A = To( English), as per the standard fuctionlity is working fine..

may i know what is your extact issue. Do you need 'To' to be displayed evethough logon language is 'IT'

but how word  'material number' showing in EN

is that because of data element lable?

'material number' is custom text which you gave it , unless and until you maintain translations for custom text in the program GOTO->Translation, it will be displayed original language text in any language logon.

But your requirement is quite different, why an Italian user has to be seen the report in English language. usually it'll be Language dependent. am not sure whether we have an option to make a Report as language Independent
