Can't find File or Schedule Event in BI 4.1 SP01

Hi All,

I am trying to create a "File Based Event" in 4.1 and I can't find it. All I see folders as:

1. Crystal Reports Event

2. Custom Events

3. Monitoring Events

4. System Events

attached is the screenshot that I see.

And only Custom Events has "New Event" option. How do I see File Event and Schedule Events?

I have read the blog-

All it mentions is how to create the event. Unfortunately, I don't see the event.

Hi Prathmesh,

If you want to create file or schedule based event then you have to click on System event not custom event.

Follow the steps to create file based event

1. Select system event

2. Click on create new event ( click on Type drop down icon and select File )

3. enter the event name,server name & event file path

Try this above steps and let us know

Thank you for the response.

However, it is the same link that I have mentioned.

It does not mention how to find the missing events.

My question I cannot create a File or Scheduling event because I do not see any option for it in the drop down.
