Dear

There might be  communication happening between the SDK and the WACS that is being blocked by the firewall

check your firewall

  1. Set the request port on the WACS through the Central Management Console.
  2. Add a firewall rule to allow communication on this port.

CR 2008 is not supported on VS 2010. You need to use SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET - if you are creating an app and it uses unmanaged reporting. For managed reporting you will have to upgrade to BI 4.x

Is your report published on Enterprise?

Do you use Enterprise SDk to fetch the report?

If yes, do you use RAS or CR Processing server to view the report?

Could you post the code you are using?

Hi Reddy,

The error "Transport error: Communication failure.(FWM 00001) " means that the machine where you have deployed the app is not able to connet to the Enterprise server where you have CMS.

So make sure the two machines are connected and can communicate to each other.

Ping the CMS server from App server.

Do a TNS ping to CMS server port from app server.

Is there a firewall in betweeen?

Have you implemented NAT?

Have you done the host file entries on both machines for each other?

Also, at what point does the app fail? Does it create a an enterprise session for the user logging in through app?

I think you meant "telnet" to CMS server port from app serve, instead of TNS ping.  TNS ping is for checking Oracle database connectivity.

Ahh.. was working with oracle so TNS stuck in mind. .

yeah.. do a telnet or something else to check if the port is open and is accessible.

thanks for correcting Dell.

Able to connect BO server from Webserver(.net application hosted) via Infoview and CMC.

Both works fine.

Funny thing,I could see session ,but fails to load reports..

Do you guys thing..something wrong with RAS?

Currently, RAS port is auto assigned,it should be a static?what about host IP ...static?

running out of ideas...
