SAP BPC 10.1 SP03 release

Hi,

SAP BPC 10.1 SP03 was released today.

The central note for the release is:

There are 103 related notes.

In older versions of OSS messages there was a feature where you could generate a PDF for related notes.  This disappeared some time ago and I have never been able to find it.  It would make the checking of the notes that are fixed in SP03 so much easier if I could export them all to a PDF, then read through the list.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Also on a related theme, the help for BPC 10.1 does not seem to include a section detailing new features in different service packs.  With the EPM addin this section is extreemely useful, especially as new features may not have an associated Note.

Thanks in advance for your help on how to get at the details of the new release.

Hi Andy,

No I work for BearingPoint, which is a Partner.

I would not imagine that partners would get to see BPC patches before customers.

If you look at the documentation site for BPC 10.1 it says SP03 is the latest release.

In any case, my question is about how to get at related SAP notes rather than specifically to do with BPC itself.

I see the note is released to everyone now, there is a PDF version link you ca click on top to the right hand side.

That produces a PDF of the current note, not the ones relates to the note.

5th button at the bottom, expanded list

then select all, you can add to your download basket or print all of them.

Thanks for the link, it does pretty much what the old notes did.

One question regarding the link, how do you find it for note 1998624?  I don't see any link from the note.

Hi Mark,

Go to support portal:

click on Software downloads tab,

click on search for software download on the left pane,

Search the component SAPK-81003

Then click on the CPMBPC 810: SP 0003

It will take you to the link I send in the previous msg.

I'm not aware of an option to generate a PDF of all related notes. If I find any information on this I will update.

And Note 1998624 is still in status "for checking" and should be generally released soon.
