Good morning.

I am doing MRP simulation tests and the figures shown in the MRP Report confuses us.

Kindly advice what are the exact formula (and table.fields) used in computing MRP Requirement for both Supply and Demand.

Thanks,

Noel

Hi Nagarajan.

I am reading the one you sent (http://www.pioneerb1.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/HowTo_MRP_88.pdf).  Hopefully, this will provide the info I need.

I could not provide an example since I could not trace yet the source of information of some items.

I will reply to this thread once I got better information.

Thanks,

Noel

Thanks Nagarajan,

I already read this article. What I am looking for is the exact formula in computing 'Quantity' in the Pegging Information window.

Warm Regards,

By the way,

In my MRP simulation, I selected only 3 items (products) that has about 30 components, Purchase Orders and Sales Orders.  However, Pegging Information of MRP report shows products that are not in the parameters I selected.

Thanks,

Noel

Hi,

1. It  happened due to update of BOM for parent item after running MRP wizard for that parent item.

2. Pegging information can be retrieved from MSN3 table.

3. Pegging information for parent item is taken from OITM table

4. Pegging information for components are taken from OITT and ITT1 table.

Thanks & Regards,

Nagarajan
