BI4.1 SP3 enable drill down right

Hi,

We are on Bi4.1 SP3. I'd like to have users to have drill down right on report, but the user shouldnot have create and edit reports rigths.

I created a Customer Access Level which the users can just refresh the reports, but dont have create, edit rights. There is a webi report which has drill down. I'd like to ask how to enable the drill down right. I've tried Application -> Reporting - Enable formating on Web Intelligence application, but it still doest work.

Could anyone please help.

Do this to enable drill down.

1. Login to CMC using administrator account.

2. Navigate to application.

3. Go to the web intelligence application, right click and navigate to user security.

4. Add a particular user or group.

5. Go to the advance tab and select add/remove rights.

6. Expand application -> web intelligence, grant reporting- enable formatting right.

7. On the folder level give view access level the user.

Thanks very much for the help. I did the steps you provided, and it is working.

The webi report has 3 levels drill down, it works from the frist level to second level, but it doent work from second to third level.

You need to enable edit query option. Check this KB for more info.
