Hi Dimitri,

I check the note 1309239 and 1314855 and create user in ABAP and check the steps but continues with the same error, can you tell me which screens need for you to see that everything is correct?

Question 2: I have no ABAP UME to the Integration Server client configured. Can I nevertheless execute the CTC Wizard?

Answer: Yes. With Release 7.20 SP1 the PI-AF CTC Wizard also supports Java UME. In older Releases (7.10, 7.11) you can execute the Wizard as well, but you have to maintain the following additional settings manually:

  • Insure that SLD and Integration Server are up and running
  • Create the PI Service Users PIRWBUSER, PIAFUSER, PIDIRUSER, PIREPUSER and PIISUSER on you Java Engine manually. Assign the same Java UME Roles to them as they have in ABAP. SAP Note: The ABAP 'role' names correspond to the Java UME 'roles', e.g. SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR or SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER.
  • Execute the Wizard.

Question 3: Self Registration of the de-central Adapter Engine has failed. What can I do?

Answer: Check the following:

    • Check the ExchangeProfile Connection. Call URL "http://<AE_host>:<port>/exchangeProfile". The properties must be visible. If not, navigate to "Connection" and check the connection values.
    • Make sure that the users PIAFUSER and PIRWBUSER exists on the AE system, are not locked, have the same password as defined in the Exchange Profile and have the User-Group/Role assignment inherited from the connected ABAP UME (compare the ABAP User-Role assignment).
    • Make sure that the target system is available. The PI hub must have the same or a higher release than your AE, but not a lower one.
    • Restart application "com.sap.aii.af.app" manually and access the default trace. In case of errors, you should find further details about the error there.
    • check SAP Note 1315998

What about your java software components, referred to in the OSS notes? Are they up-to-date?
