Get Data from Side panel to Dynpro Application

Hi,

I built my first own Side panel Chip (WD) and I didn´t find a way to geht any data out of the side panel back to the dynpro application (sapmv45a/VA01).

Just to be sure: Is that ritght, it´s not possible?

Hi Patrick,

Yes Supriya is correct. It is not possible to pass info from a side panel back to the main application.  In general side panels are intended to provide additional contextual, read-only, information.

Hello Patrick,

I think its not yet possible to get data from side panel to canvas area!.

Maybe you can integrate an application in side panel which will have buttons to alter the data and refresh the transaction to get the updated version
