Hi,

How many roles can we assign for a single user, I have only one user and I want to assign multiple roles to that user. How can I do it.

Hello

There is no limitation on the number of roles you can assign to a user. Here is the procedure:

Login to useradmin : http://hostname:port/useradmin -> search the user you want to add roles to ->

Select User -> Assigned Roles tab -> Click Modify -> Search roles you want to add -> You can select multiple roles by clicking 'ctrl' button -> Click Add -> Save changes.

Hi Vamshi,

If you want to assign multiple roles at a time it is better to create a group and assign the selected roles to that group and in turn if you assign this group to user, all the roles in that role will be assigned.

How many roles do you want to assign to one user? Also, Can you elaborate on which types of roles do you want to assign?
