Create Project for existing Item

Hi all,

I have experienced that when I create a new Item, sometimes my system does not create the project automatically. This is despite the fact that the project is created 99% of the time. We are talking the same Item type and no changes have been made. I'm suspecting performance issues and the fact that upon creation of the Item performance might have been very bad and this caused the project not to be created? I really have no other idea?

So the question - Does anyone know a reason for this or has anyone experienced the same issues?

Is it possible to create a project from Project Management and link this project to the Item without a linked project?

Found the answer myself

Created a new project from Project management and assigned this to the item via Relationships->Related Objects
