Wily introscope in solman

Hi Experts,

I am configuring the solution manager.In Basic configuration it is asking for wily introscope , Please let me know what is wily introscope and how should we configure.is it necessary to install wily introscope.Whether the wily introscope need to be installed on solution manager only or manged systems(DEV,QAS and PRD) also. I have gone through the google and some SAP notes but i am not getting.

The Introscope EM is only required on SolMan, when you manage systems it will configure the SMD/hostctrl agents on the remote systems to interface with the EM.  This is needed for almost all of the Root Cause Analysis work center.

Hi Patan,

Wily is used to configure monitoring of JAVA based systems. You can install the same using SAP installer. Check on SAP service marketplace for relevant documentation.
