Locking error being generated during Mass Confirmation through BAPI

We are trying to use BAPI for Mass Confirmation of Production Orders.

The system generates Locking error, at the time of uploading confirmation of component's goods movement.

The error in COGI shows the reason as "Material locked by user xxxxxxxx" or "Enter Storage Location", where as storage location is already provided in the uploading data & component is not locked by any user.

Reference Notes by SAP are also seen but could not find any solution. Anyone knows solution to this problem is requested to help resolving this.

Hi

When you are performing the mass upload activity

1. You have to carryout off peak time or if possible any downtime day before that you have to check the over all upload timing in either QAS or DEV system.

2. If possible restart the SAP instance (or) clear the locks in transaction SM12

and then perform the mass upload
