Hi Experts,

I have exported IR & ID objects under one TR (using CTS organizer) from DEV environment. While importing  by using STMS_IMPORT in PI QTY system I got the following error.

RFC communications error with system/destination

%%ashost=BLPIQTY,sysnr=,lang=E,client=220,pcs=2,ic

RFC destination

%%ashost=BLPIQTY,sysnr=,lang=E,client=220,pcs=2,icce=1,cf

it=0x20 does not exist.

Please suggest some way out !!

Thanks,

Arthita

Hi Osman,

All my RFCs are working fine whether it be from the DEV system to QTY or vice versa.

Is there anything else we could check?

PFA the screenshot for your reference.

Another confusion is when try to import lat time, in log its showing error occurred for ID object, here is the screen shot,

Is there any prerequisite to transport ID object to QTY environment or any dependencies?

First error - It indicates that something wrong with RFC connection. You can check in st22 and see if you can find something in logs.

Other ways to check RFC connections -> stms->Monitor -> RFC Connections.

else

stms->overview->systems-> select the system and then go to SAP System Menu -> check -> all the three available options.

Second error is not unusual.

When you transport communication channels for the first time, you'll get such errors as it tries activate the change list automatically without mandatory parameters.

You can find those channels in the change list of Quality system ID. Manually fill the required details and activate.

From next time,if you re import/transport those channels, you'll not notice such errors.

Issue is sure with the RFC destination.

Go to the RFC destination and test connection.

To avoid the 2nd error you can disable the auto activation of objects in ID.

Administration --> Exchange Profile --> Integration Builder --> Directory

Uncheck the value box

Hi Osman,

For that Channel activation error, unchecked that value box.

But now we are facing  below mentioned issue.

Any idea?

You cannot transport the same object when it is already in change list.

Logon to ID-> go to change list and transfer that object to your user.

You can Activate /deactivate that objects(optional)

Then try re importing. It should work.

Remember, Everytime you transport the ID objects.

The objects show up in change list of user nwdi_ctsadm (not your user name)

Go to the change list tab, click on filter. select nwdi_ctsadm in the user field.

Right click on nwdi_ctsadm user change list and hit "Transfer", this will transfer the objects to your change list, now you can fill the required fields and activate the objects.

Hi arthita,

check if the RfFC destination you are exporting exists in the target system.
