Business Partner Process

Hello,

We need to implement the Business Partner Process.

The system in use today is with customer and vendor, but now we need to use business partner.

Someone could guide me how to deal this new process integrated with vendor and customer?

Hi,

Generally business partners are used in the CRM module

confirm if you are creating customer/vendor master in the system in the present process.

Hello,

we don't use CRM module. We will implement the GMDS.

Presently, we maintain customer master data and vendor master data according to XD01 and XK01 process.

The GMDS will update BP and the SAP ERP will update the customer and vendor master data.

Hello,

Group Master Data Systems (SAP MDG – Master Data Governance) is a tool from SAP to manage
master data such as material, customer, vendor and account.

This tool provides a centralized master data when using data harmonization among companies
of a group.

The master date maintenance is done only in GMDS and their data are shared among all
companies. This tool is integrated with SAP ERP ECC automatically.

For customer and vendor we need to activate business partner process to integrate
with GMDS.
