Hi All,
We are required to change the description of attributes after they are activated and been part of the active planning model. We tried doing this and found out, the descriptions get changed and also gets updated in the Master data types where they are used in.But when u go and check the planning model, the same master data type does not reflect this change. Is this a bug or the standard behavior? Did any one encounter this in their implementation please share and how to get this name change done with least amount of disruption to the planning model. Please help.
Kind Regards,
Sanjeev
... or delete all folders and files under the path:
C:\Users\<user-ID >\AppData\Local\EPMOfficeClient\Metadata
with user-ID = the ID with which you log on to your laptop ...
Advantage towards the above proposal: You delete the cache for all connections, and not only one-by-one ...

Hi Sanjeev,
In the Excel S&OP Add Ins:-
1) select on your connection in log on screen
2) click on Edit
3) and click Clear Metadata Cache
after this step you should see the changed description on planning views.

Vikas
