Dear All,
I 'm getting above error in system logs and oracle alert file.
I checked on OSS and found few notes which are applicable to MSSQL not Oracle.
Any Ideas ? Thanks.
Database error 60 at SEL access to table TSP02
Database error 60 at INS access to table TSPEVJOB
R/3 Release 4.6C
Oracle 10.2.0.2.0
AIX 5
these tables are for print, could you please check your system consistancy checks in SP12. Error 60 looks like deadlock.
Cheers,
-Sunil

Hi Amol,
Did you had any chance to find the solution for the problem.
Even i am facing the same deadlock issue.

Hi,
The DB error 60 is: "ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource".
You can check this OSS note about that: 84348.
and if your system is a BW: 631668, 634458.

Juan,
Thanks.
I know it is related to deadlock.
But the problem is there are different reasons and ofcourse different solutions if deadlock occurs for different tables.
SO, in my case, it is for above two tables alternatively and the notes I was able to find were related to MSSQL. Hence I tried to search for oracle one but didnt get any.
Amol,
A deadlock occurs when a session (A) wants a resource held by another
session (B) , but that session also wants a resource held by the first
session (A). There can be more than 2 sessions involved but the idea is
the same.
To know exact reason and type of Lock it is holding you need to anakyze perticular trace file from user dump dest.So fir time being you save data and close all perticular sessions.
Regards
Vinod
