Missing roles for SAP Fiori

Hi all,

We seem to be having a problem with missing roles on our SAP backend server whilst setting it up for Fiori. We have a new server with NetWeaver 7.40

We have followed all the installation guides and are trying to setup the apps, for example leave approval. We cannot find the role "SAP_GBHCM_LEAVE_APPROVAL_MGR". The components below are required according to the requirement guides:

UIX01HCM 1.0 - on front end, we have installed this

GBHCM003 600 - on back end, we cannot install this as it requires IW_BEP which is replaced with GWFND in NetWeaver 7.40

I suspect the problem is due to missing components.

Are there component(s) for NW 7.40 that replace the components GBHCM* and SRA* for the apps?

Hi Che,

You will find the role "SAP_GBHCM_LEAVE_APPROVAL_MGR" only when you install the GBHCM003 component.

You do not need to install "IW_BEP" on NW740. "SAP_GWFND" is already installed.

UI add-on "SAP_UI" is also installed as default on NW740.

Please look at the install guide.

Hi Pankaj,

Thank you for your response, I am unable to install GBHCM003 as I get the error below:

As you have said I don't need to install IW_BEP but cannot install GBHCM003.

Am I doing something wrong or is there an alternative component for GBHCM003?

Do you see a prerequisite set 02 as well or is this the only prerequisite set?

Please install the Attribute Change Package for GBHCM003.

Go to http://service.sap.com/swdc and search GBHCM003.
