Custom functions in webi - WebiCalcPlugIn

Hi,

I am trying to deploy the custom functions in WebiCalcPlugin folder. but i am unable get those in launch pad.

Please assist me how to deploy and where to place those files.

we followed the steps in the document "sbo41_webi_calc_ext_en.pdf" .

Hi Swetha,

You must place the XML file and related library DLL file in the library folder for the server, as well as on any desktop rich-client.

HI Ashvin,

I placed all the XML and dll fils under

"C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\WebiCalcPlugIn" folder.

We are using launch pad for report creation, is these functions will not be available in launch pad?

Is these functions are only for Webi rich client ?

Can you please clarify?

we are referring that document only but we didn't succeeded.

Please help me with step by step procedure. only for the placing of files. I already deploy the code in VS 2005. I have dll and XML files with me.
