Profit center determination after the facts.

Hi gurus,

In the past, some materials have been allocated a wrong profit center. This has led to unbalanced documents from a profit center perspective and postings to the zero balancing account.

I am after a way to re-determine profitcenters of line items after documents have been posted (function module ?). This would feed a program that would make correction postings with the purpose to achieve a correct profit center split. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jose,

Check Profit Center Reorganization. It is a functionality included in Ehp5 (business function FIN_GL_REORG).

Although I do not have EHP5 in place, it looks like this is the solution.
