Hello,
We are not using any Job scheduling tool, we use only SAP standard functionalities - SM36
We have a requirement to schedule a job to run daily with a frequency of 15 minutes, however need to restrict it to run only between particular timings of a day (Example - 6 PM to 6 AM)
Is there any standard way of doing it?
Thanks,
Subbu
Hello Shubhu,
There is no such standard to restrict the background job. But you can maintain the n no. of jobs for every 15 mins.. like JOB1 for 00:00, JOB2 for 00:15, JOB3 for 00:30 and so on by giving same report name.
Then it will run according to the scheduled time only.
Regards,
Mohit

You can try sapevt and there is no standard way.
Jobs only run at that time when process are available.
You can also go for a custom program. May be you can schedule same job for 15 mins interval.
**** The content here and in above link is same.
I typed this from my mobile while I was cooking and posted later
