Reorder Base planning in background

Dear All,

I have certain material(20 Material) which use reorder base planning.

For this 20 material I want to run MRP in background for every 20 min.

What master and special customizing I need to define for such scenario?

MMV,

Yes you can run MRP based on MRP group also with same user exit.

Hi,

You can run the MRP by MRP controller. The MRP controller will need to be assigned to your 20 materials.

Then you can schedule an MRP run every 20 min in transaction MDBT. When you save the variant, you can filter by MRP controller. To be able to do it, you will need to enhanced the MRP run using the

prefefined SAP 'user exit' M61X0001.

Other option would be to run an MPS for these materials (MD40). You will need to assgn MRP Type M1 to M4 to your 20 materials.

If you want to run MRP for only these 20 materials then you need to use a user exit with which you can restrict MRP to only few selected materials.

Then you can create Variant and Schedule the job in background per your requirement.
