Resolved by setting up correctly UWL XML again.

As prashanth said please activate the services in the SICF and generate the error once again and check the log in nwa-->trouoble shooting-->logs and traces -->developer traces and check the error their.

Check if the corresponding service is active in the backend (SICF). If no fault is found there then have your basis team check default trace on portal and ICM log in R/3 to filter out recorded connection errors.
If nothing helps, trace the URL of the application being accessed in the pop up window and troubleshoot the URL in an independent IE session.
