Dear Experts,

I need to know why we are not able to plan Balance Sheet Accounts without Profit Center? Is there any work around to do the needful?

Hi,

Thank you for your replies.

I was asking about GL Planning on tcode : GP12N.

There i don't need to maintain profit center in planning layout and just want to plan at GL level.

is it possible?

I have executed IMPORT PLANNING LAYOUTS and imported 0FAGL-07 layout for my requirement.

Hi Zain,

If you have defined profit centre as a one of the document splitting characteristics and selected as a zero balancing account. You cannot post the document without profit centre. If you have not defined above, then you can post any document with out profit centre.

Maintain FAGL3KEH default profit centers for balance sheet accounts.

If you have not maintained and the profit center is one of balancing fields (if you are new GL), then it would expect you to have the profit center on your document line items.
